Overview

The Department of Computer Science at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications (Honours/Honours with research)
and Master of Science (Computer Science with Data Science). The curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computational theory, software development, data structures, algorithms, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cloud computing.

The department boasts an experienced faculty with expertise in fields such as Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Software Engineering, Internet of Things (IoT), Quantum Computing, and High-Performance Computing. Students have access to state-of-the-art labs, including AI & Robotics Lab, Cloud Computing Lab, Cybersecurity Lab, and Open Source Lab, ensuring hands-on experience in cutting-edge technologies.

To bridge the gap between academia and industry, the department organizes hackathons, coding marathons, hands-on workshops, and industry collaborations in areas like Full-Stack Development, Ethical Hacking, DevOps, and Blockchain Technology.
